About the Event
Winter, coldest season of the year; the name comes from an old Germanic word that means “time of water” and refers to the rain and snow of winter in middle and high latitudes.
It's a time of Christmas celebration, reflection, hunkering down in front of the fire, and storytelling.
Join award-winning flash fiction writer and The Phare co-editor, Rebecca Klassen, for our write-to-a-prompt Winter flash workshop. We’ll be using images/pieces of art as creative springboards for flash, micro and short stories. There’ll be time to write, share and discuss your Winter-inspired work.
